Exactly the day that Mr. Right wondered why we even bother setting an alarm, seeing as "we already have one set for 2:15 with a three-hour snooze," Shmoogie slept through the night. And then she did it again!!! Two full night's sleep back to back hasn't happened since... I'm thinking probably some time in February.
She has quite the runny nose lately, which along with the ever-popular "teething" is our current explanation for her up-twice-a-night habit, but I guess it's finally getting better. Just when she'd discovered where we keep the box of tissues and kept getting herself one (or several), which I would then take away because, duh, she'll eat them. Except that yesterday I finally watched her for a few minutes and realized she was crawling around with a tissue clutched in one hand, stopping every few minutes to swipe it across her upper lip a few times. She was even making a nose-blowing face. Too cute, although odd that she always screeches and flings herself away from me when I try to wipe her nose.

That is a very little girl who is trying very hard to be a lot bigger. Choosing her own books, blowing her own nose. Impressive! And very cute.

I recently looked at some snow mittens from Columbia that have fleece on the thumb for those "pesky cold weather sniffles". Uh, yeah I ordered them!
And, whoa, this post just reminded me that she's a whole lot bigger than when we saw you in June. Glad to hear she's letting you sleep!

That sounds like a great idea! And I bet your little one is a lot bigger, too :( Amazing how fast the time is flying.
